Our Core Values
A core-value represents something we believe so that we actually live accordingly. The core values of TLiC represent the ideals that guide and direct our daily decision making. Currently, we have seven core-values
1. Scripture
The primacy, sufficiency, and effectuality of Scripture in and for every aspect of life, 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
2. Christ
The emphasis upon Christ’s sufficiency, by the Holy Spirit, for salvation and spiritual growth, Philippians 1:21; Galatians 2:20.
3. People
The priority to treat all people redemptively, 1 John 3:23.
4. Excellence
The pursuit of excellence in ministry endeavors, by demonstrating and maintaining integrity in scholarship and stewardship, 1 Corinthians 10:31; 2 Timothy 2:15.
5. Grace
Communicating and treating everyone with intentional peace and grace (especially those of God’s household), Romans 12:14—13:8; Ephesians 4:1-3.
6. Stewardship
Maintaining a non-solicitous, debt-free ministry, Romans 13:8; 1 Corinthians 9:18.
7. Trust
Trusting in God alone through Christ alone, by prayerfully following the leading of the Holy Spirit in all matters of business.
